Rector of the UDA distinguished on Teacher's Day

The 10 of April the Rector of the University of Azuay, Francisco Salgado, received the Vicente Rocafuerte distinction, granted by the Ministry of Education, 6 zonal coordination.

The distinction recognizes his trajectory as an educator and teacher of generations.

The recognition was delivered on April 10, in Solemn Session for Teacher's Day held at the Pumapungo Museum.

In the event also received the distinction Luis Felipe Borja the former Rector of the UDA, Mario Jaramillo.

During the ceremony, emphasis was placed on the revaluation of the pedagogical role of teachers in the classrooms and teachers who completed 25 years of service were recognized.

Cristian Cobos, Education Coordinator, expressed the importance of seeing the teacher as a human being and called to recognize the hard work of teachers in the classroom.
