III Congress of Psychology and Communication

On December 12, the III Congress of Psychology and Communication was held in the Aula Magna of the University of Cuenca. The event was held in conjunction with the University of Azuay, in order to present research conducted by students and teachers.

Mónica Corral, Coordinator of the School of Educational Psychology, indicated that it was important to participate in this academic appointment, as well as to foster interuniversity cooperation between teachers and students.

"Inculcating reflection and knowledge in students is essential, do not wait for your turn to speak, learn to really listen and you will be different," Corral told students at both universities.

The topics touched on the conference were very diverse, from research and experimental methodologies based on educommunication, through the art of seduction in populism to and psychoanalysis and the study of the unconscious.

On the other hand, Ana María Durán, member of the Academic Board of the School of Communication, highlighted the importance of this third edition of the congress:

"The fact of arriving at a third meeting confirms the contribution that exists between universities and their respective convergence in the contents addressed within this space."
