Aguilar told us that the master's degree aims to provide tools to professionals of different branches, skills and knowledge to prioritize caring for the environment as a whole, through an interdisciplinary approach.

The cost is $ 500 for tuition and $ 6.500 for tuition and the program lasts 18 months, of which the first 13 months will be for classes and the remaining 6 will be for the completion of the thesis.

We asked Aguilar what would be the profile of the applicants to the master's degree and he replied that it is quite broad, since it is aimed at professionals in the Social Sciences and Natural Sciences; what should prevail is interest in environmental issues.

All applicants without distinction must submit a thesis proposal, an initiative of a sustainable development project in environmental conservation management.

Due to the pandemic, the modality of the master's degree is expected to be mostly virtual, but everything will depend on how the situation caused by the virus evolves.

With regard to field trips, they will be carried out ensuring the well-being and care of the students, taking the proper biosecurity measures.

"Graduates must find a niche that gives them significance in their research and must be obliged to involve all the knowledge given to apply it in future projects that encourage conservation and environmental care," Aguilar concluded.
