Inauguration of the Administration Square

The December 5 inaugurated the Administration Square on the campus of the Universidad del Azuay, together with the infrastructure works carried out in the building of the Faculty of Administration Sciences.

The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Azuay, Francisco Salgado; Martha Cobos, Vice Chancellor for Academics; Jacinto Guillen, Vice Chancellor for Research: Oswaldo Merchán, Dean of the Faculty of Administration Sciences, and Ximena Moscoso, Assistant Dean of the Faculty.

In addition, professors, administrative staff and university students attended.

“I want to refer to the new spaces that have been redistributed in the University, prioritizing the well-being and comfort of those who use them. The purpose is to create environments that facilitate and promote creativity, dialogue and recreation, ”said Oswaldo Merchán.

Similarly, two elevators were inaugurated in the building of the Faculty of Administration Sciences, which aim to encourage the inclusion of those with special needs, who require adequate support services.

The arrangement of the building of the Faculty of Sciences of the Administration was integral, creating environments with warmth and comfort, with integrating spaces for the university community.

The event ended with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and a musical intervention by the Tuna of the University of Azuay.
