The UDA presented a collection of books on educational inclusion

The University of Azuay and its Publishing House presented the October 8 collection of works "Educational inclusion in numbers", which addresses the reality of inclusion in the Basic General Education centers in Ecuador in the 2015 - 2016 period.

The books are the result of a graduation project of the Master's Degree in Educational Inclusion and were published under the coordination of Margarita Proaño.

"It is a quantitative study carried out at the national level of how 3 years ago was the knowledge, opinion and attitude of Ecuadorian teachers regarding educational inclusion," said Proaño and added:

"The fundamental importance is in having filled a very large void since there was nothing published about it, today it is surely one of the few studies on this argument and of this magnitude carried out in Ecuador."

The project was carried out with an agreement between the University of Azuay and the Technical Secretary of Disabilities (SETEDIS).
