Videoconference on Landscape Architecture from New York

On Tuesday, May 19, the School of Architecture of the University of Azuay organized the videoconference "Landscape Architecture, Professional Projects" given by the architect Mario Ulloa, a graduate of the first generations of the degree.

Ulloa, who was invited by the architecture professor Isabel Carrasco, made her talk from New York.

"I wanted to make it clear that a city project is much better if you do not separate the trades, but rather work as a team. I did not study Landscaping but rather Architecture and Urban Design, but due to my work I have had to do a little bit of everything" Ulloa explained.

Ulloa said during the talk that, after graduating from Architecture at UDA, he studied Urbanism at Columbia University, where he acquired a new concept of what a city was and how to get rid of labels when facing an urban project.

"The most relevant thing is that in public space projects everything influences, it is designed for all kinds of people and we should be piles to listen to people and make them part of the design," concluded Ulloa.
