Advice to micro and small businesses

Within the framework of the Project for Counseling Microenterprises (PAME), the project's project document called "Pato Paleta" was delivered to the Faculty of Management Sciences.

The advised initiative belongs to the food sector and plans to produce around 62.000 annual ice cream palettes, through a semi-industrial process; the commercialization will be carried out in five important parks of the city of Cuenca.

The project was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty, Oswaldo Merchán, and Paúl Vanegas, Coordinator of PAME.

The objectives of this project of the Faculty are to train, advise, provide technical assistance to micro and small businesses, in topics related to administration, finance, accounting, marketing.

This help also includes social organizations.

One of the key aspects of this advice is the formulation of mechanisms to enable access to public and private financing.

Patricio Zea Valdano, microentrepreneur beneficiary of the project "Pato Paleta", thanked the support of the Faculty of Administration Sciences, the PAME project and the professors and students who participated in the consultancy.
