Signing of a health agreement to benefit minors and women

The University of Azuay, the Rotary Club Yanuncay, the Rotary Club of Port Moody and True North Mission, signed an agreement to manage projects related to society, which seeks to benefit infants under 18 months with hip dysplasia and women with problems uterine

Through this agreement, the areas of Higher Education, teaching, incapacitation, research, technology transfer, extension and services will be strengthened.

The focus will be on cases such as screening for hip dysplasia for children under 18 months and premalignant or suspicious lesions of cervical malignancy in women.

Under these circumstances professionals of the postgraduate courses of Family and Community Medicine (EMFC), Pediatrics and Obstetrics Gynecology will participate, with the participation of the Pablo Jaramillo Crespo specialized Humanitarian Hospital.

The specialists will be trained and also postgraduate students of Family and Community Medicine of El Valle Parish will be trained.

The institutions have a plan of 10 specific objectives that will be developed in this year.
