Delivery of studies of the PAME project

The Dean of the Faculty of Sciences of the Administration, Oswaldo Merchán, proceeded to deliver three studies carried out by students and tutors within the activities of linking the Microenterprise Support Project (PAME).

The first was “Installation of the Isla Mágica Project”, whose objective is the organization of children's events for children between one and ten years old; This venture foresees the creation of a training center with adequate infrastructure for this type of service, and which is in the process of being installed.

Another of the documents submitted was the "Study to determine the level of satisfaction of the bar of the University of Azuay". Around 400 surveys were conducted to measure students' perception of compliance with service, prices, environment, quality, variety of foods, among other aspects.

The profile of the project called "Galleon" for the production and sale of craft beer was also delivered; In this study, sales of around 19.200 bottles per year are projected, with an investment close to 20000 dollars.

The studies delivered are part of the community service practices that can be carried out in PAME, a project of the Faculty of Science Administration whose mission is to train, advise, provide technical assistance to micro and small businesses, and social organizations on issues related to administration, finance, accounting, taxation, marketing and project formulation to enable access to public or private financing.
