Fashion show “Terrible Enfants”

The November 27 took place the fashion show “Enfants Terrible” in the French Alliance of the city of Cuenca, organized by the School of Textile and Clothing Design and the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art of the University of Azuay.

“Enfants Terrible” is an academic proposal that comes out of the mold, where students in fifth and seventh cycles of Textile and Apparel Design present haute couture suits, textile bases and other garments raised under the concept of “rebel boys”, taking as reference to the famous designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

To open the event, Antoine Lissourge, Director of the French Alliance, gave a few words of welcome and thanks and stressed the importance of this event, since November was the month of fashion.

Regarding the slogan of "rebel boys," Lissourge left a sentence: "If we dare not, we will never achieve anything different."

Then, the Dean of Design, Architecture and Art, Genoveva Malo, congratulated the students who participated in the exhibition and added:

"Art is there to sensitize us."
