Dora Giordano presents her book at the UDA

The November 20 was held at the Teatrino of the University of Azuay to launch the book "Design Issues, Unstable Balance on Inaccurate Fields" written by Argentina's Dora Giordano, forger of the Faculty of Design 35 years ago.

The event was organized within the framework of the 5to Meeting of Design, Architecture and Art called Designing on the Footprint.

The Rector of the University, Francisco Salgado, welcomed those present with these words: “We are gathered to celebrate the presentation of a book that is not just letters on paper, it is the work of a lifetime and a projected trajectory in the minds and hearts of the readers. "

Claudio Malo, meanwhile, forger of the University of Azuay, later recognized Giordano as an essential part for the execution of the educational processes of the Faculty of Design.

Finally, Giordano -who is also the creator of the University logo- deeply thanked those present and, especially, Claudio Malo, who has been a fundamental pillar for the creation of his book:

“The book has a lot to do with my stay in Ecuador that has contributed a lot to my thinking. The turn that has taken place has occurred in my way of seeing the world and in my way of loading teaching. ”
