Holiday community UDA 2019
From Monday 15 to Friday of July 26 the holiday colony is carried out at the facilities of the La Asunción Educational Unit for children from 2 to 16 years, organized by the Academic Vice Rectorate and the Department of Human Talent.
The inauguration was attended by Martha Cobos, Academic Vice Chancellor of the UDA; Ana Lucía Pacurucu, Director of CEIAP; Eliana Bojorque, Rector of the Private Educational Unit La Asunción, and other authorities.
The objectives of this event are to generate a safe environment for the free time of the children of the university community staff, forging activities to develop potential.
“We carry out this activity so that all the children of teachers and administrative staff of the entire university community are integrated. In addition, at the opening we have the magic show by Juan Estrella, a recognized magician from the city who interacted with all the participants, ”said Lourdes Quizhpi, social worker at the UDA.
The methodology used for this colony is based on art, play and a range of recreational and sports activities that allow children to experience experiences in the different scenarios previously selected, among which visits to the zoo, hippotherapy, cinema are unleashed , mountain excursion, tourist trips.
While for adolescents the following activities are carried out: emotional intelligence and leadership, first aid, photography, design and creation of video games, urban gardens and preparation of fast and healthy food.
