They present investigations of the Business Observatory

The April 18 was held in the Multiple Use Room presentation of four research projects conducted by the Business Observatory of the Faculty of Management Sciences, with the aim of showing students the link of the academy and the company and motivate them to investigate.

The academic event began with the presentation of the results of the project entitled "Analysis of the value chain of companies in the meat production and processing sector of the city", by María José González, who spoke about the strengths and weaknesses of companies.

The second exhibition was by Orlando Espinoza, who presented the results of the project "Measurement of financial management of the meat sector", on the financial tools of companies.

Iván Orellana reported on the results of the second project, with his presentation "Insolvency analysis of the food sector of the city of Cuenca", and analyzed the risks that companies face.

The results of the third project regarding corporate social responsibility were presented by Juan Francisco Álvarez. The project consisted of a social marketing campaign for the prevention of childhood obesity. "The 40% reputation of the companies are born of social responsibility" Álvarez explained.

The fourth project is entitled: "Advice to small and medium entrepreneurs PAME" and its results were presented by Paúl Vanegas, who placed special emphasis on entrepreneurship.

"The issue of entrepreneurship is not so simple, there are people predisposed to entrepreneurship, they are special and they are not afraid of risk", concluded Vanegas.
