The UDA is the first Ecuadorian university to be considered MikroTik Academy

The University of Azuay became the first Ecuadorian university to be considered the MikroTik Academy, based on the agreement signed with that company of network and software equipment based in Latvia.

MikroTik products such as RouterOS software and RouterBOARD routers are used internationally to ensure numerous network management tasks in Internet providers and enterprise networks.

MikroTik offers institutions of higher education the possibility of organizing Networking classes using RouterOS as a learning tool and, thanks to this possibility, students can obtain an internationally recognized certificate.

The agreement signed between the company and the UDA will complement the existing curriculum of all those undergraduate students of the Electronic Engineering career and grant them the MTCNA certificate (MikroTik Certified Network Associate).

The 15 of January, the students of the ninth cycle of this career, who study the subject of Data Communications and Computer Networks, took the MTCNA certification exam and 20 of them (from 25 presented) obtained the certificate.
