Students of Clinical Psychology will practice in the Rehabilitation Center of Turi

On June 29, the University of Azuay signed an agreement with the Ministry of Justice so that -among other aspects of mutual cooperation- students of the Clinical Psychology career of the Faculty of Philosophy can carry out their pre-professional practices within the Center for Social Rehabilitation Sierra Centro Sur "CRS-Turi".

The delegation of the University was formed by the Rector in charge, Martha Cobos, and the teachers of the race who will be in charge of the project.

Cobos thanked the Ministry of Justice for expediting the signing of this agreement and noted that it is a pleasure for the University to be able to return to work with the inmates, since the purpose of the Academy is to be able to serve the community.

In the framework of the signing of the agreement that took place in the Rehabilitation Center, dance and song presentations were held, as well as the tasting of bakery products made by the inmates.

Fausto S. spoke on behalf of the inmates, who acknowledged that thanks to this type of agreement they are given better opportunities in their rehabilitation process and that the study connects them with the outside world.
