The University of Azuay and University of Public Service of Hungary strengthen their relations
We received Miklós Paczuk, Ambassador of Hungary in our campus, who honored the Memorandum of Understanding between University of Azuay and University of Public Service of Hungary.
We also received Ms. Alexandra Zalaföldi, Cultural Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy, and Dr. András Hárs, Professor of International Law a University of Public Service in Hungary who presented an interesting conference on Artificial Intelligence and Law.
Our President Francisco Salgado spoke about the importance of thinking about the future and how to leave a better world for the new generations. Alliances like these contribute to build networks that will enhance our efforts in this world full of uncertainty.
Regarding to Artificial Intelligence, our president emphasized the responsibility of discussing its use in universities. Maluse of artificial intelligence can be compared to an atomic bomb which could be very dangerous, but if used properly it can enhance human and academic activity. It’s our responsibility to conduct it and work together to make a better world.
