Analog Data, Digital Signals

It is more concrete to refer to this process as the conversion of analog data to digital data: this process is also called digitization. The device that is used for the conversion of the analog data into digital, and that later recovers the initial analog data from the digital ones is called CODEC (coder - decoder). There are two techniques used by the CODEC which are:

• Pulse Code Modulation

• delta modulation
