For teachers

What will the working day be like?

  • The working day will be complete according to the activities of each teacher (you return to have all the tasks in person).
  • The return will be in an orderly and gradual manner the first week, and will respond to the following calendar:

Academic calendar 2021

  • In each Faculty, the University Occupational Health team will supervise compliance with the biosafety recommendations contained in the Ethical Agreement, especially the use of the double mask and ventilation in the spaces. In this way, it will give constant feedback to the authorities. Air quality controls will be carried out randomly by means of carbon dioxide sensors.

  • A constant control of the use of elevators will be carried out according to the established biosafety standards.

  • During the first weeks in the cafeterias, food service will only be given to people who have lunch on campus. For this purpose, the central cafeteria will be open from 11:30 to 14:30.

  • To enter common spaces such as Library,  Auditoriums, multipurpose rooms, among others, it is necessary that you have a QR code that shows that you are vaccinated. You can download the code by entering the SGU and it will be scanned upon entering each space.

  • The student, teacher and employee associations will only provide the office service. Social gatherings or other activities that generate agglutination may not be held in said spaces.

How and where will the research or management activities carried out by the teachers take place apart from the classes?

  • All activities will be face-to-face in the spaces provided for each of them.

What will be the evaluation system in force in this period?

  • The evaluation system prior to the time of essential care will be resumed.

What happens if as a teacher I get infected?

  • You must report to the SGU that you have symptoms or that you have a suspected contagion (this report automatically justifies the absence) and you must remain at home.

  • Report via telephone to the University Medical Office, to receive instructions on the process to be carried out to rule out or confirm contagion and protect your health.

  • In case of positive results and your health allows it, you will be authorized to teach the classes virtually to the group while the convalescence process lasts.

What happens if a student is infected?

  • The student must report on the platform that he has presented symptoms or is suspected of contagion (this report automatically justifies the absence) and must stay home. It will be the responsibility of each student to equalize based on the support of peers and accompaniment of the teachers with the material found on the virtual campus.
