For the whole community

Why should we go back to being present?

  • To live the university experience of the presence.
  • For our mental health.
  • To enjoy life in community.
  • For the quality of education.

Why can we go back to being present?

  • o Currently our community almost entirely has a double dose of the vaccine, which gives us high immunity and, together with the double mask and constant hand disinfection, allows us to be more protected from possible contagion
    • If we all support and comply with biosecurity standards, we can have greater control and care.
    • Our campus allows the return since we have classrooms with ventilation, carbon dioxide meters, commitment to the Ethical Pact, open spaces and the installation of several disinfection points.
    • Other countries with fewer vaccinated people and greater contagion, already recommend the return to the universities, we will do it responsibly with the measures designed by the University.

What will the return to face-to-face be like?

  • The University in September returns to full presence, that implies both theoretical and practical face-to-face classes, in classrooms and laboratories; as well as the attention to the public in all dependencies and service spaces such as libraries, medical and psychological dispensaries, cafeterias, bookstore, etc.
  • The return will be in an orderly and gradual manner the first week, and will respond to the following calendar:

return schedule

  • In each Faculty, the University Occupational Health team will supervise compliance with the biosafety recommendations contained in the Ethical Agreement, especially the use of the double mask and ventilation in the spaces. In this way you will give constant feedback to the authorities.
  • Air quality controls will be carried out randomly by means of carbon dioxide sensors.
  • A constant control of the use of elevators will be carried out according to the established biosafety standards.
  • During the first weeks in the cafeterias, food service will only be given to people who have lunch on campus. For this purpose, the central cafeteria will be open from 11:30 to 14:30.
  • To enter common spaces such as Library, Auditoriums, multipurpose rooms, among others, it is necessary that you have a QR code that proves that you are vaccinated. You can download the code by entering the SGU and it will be scanned upon entering each space.
  • The student, teacher and employee associations will only provide the office service. Social gatherings or other activities that generate agglutination may not be held in said spaces.

Safety rules:

  • About the use of classrooms: Only classrooms that guarantee continuous ventilation will be used. The windows will not be closed in any case. It is advisable to bring a second upper garment (jacket) that can help in case the ambient temperature drops.
  • On the use of common use spaces: Only those who have registered their vaccination in the University Management System or Student Portal of the University and in which the capacity of 75% is managed for all types of events, as well as permanent ventilation.

Report by phone to the University medical office, to receive the instructions in the process to be carried out to rule out or confirm the contagion and protect your health.
