UDA prepares people with disabilities

 

Tomorrow, from the 09: 00, in the Day Center of Integral Development for People with Disabilities "San Jose", will begin the workshops of construction of objects based on recyclable paper pulp, after the previous Monday the agreement was signed between the Municipality of Biblián and the University of Azuay.

 

Galo Paida, project supervisor for the Municipality, indicated that the workshops will be held on Fridays, for a period of 12 months, addressed to the 40 users of the Day Center. "You will be spaces of social integration with productive relationship, that is, they will elaborate handicrafts that will be able to sell them".

 

Paida mentioned that the University of Azuay, through the Faculty of Design, will be in charge of dictating the workshops to Persons with Disabilities. "Each accompanied by the students, will come to the canton for the workshops".

 

The Municipality will be responsible for providing the materials for the preparation of the crafts, in addition to the mobilization of the trainers.
