UDA honors the anniversary parade

Alumni, managers and teachers of the University of Azuay (UDA) gathered last night in the auditorium of the alma mater to learn and arrange details of the preparations for the parade to celebrate the 50 years of the birth of the university , will take place on Saturday 6 in October.

The meeting was convened to motivate the alumni to congregate and plan the parade for the 50 years. For this purpose, an organizing commission has been formed, involving teachers, servants, the Association of Retirees, the Student Federation (UDAFE), the graduates represented on the University Council by Juanita Bersosa, among others.

Francisco Salgado, rector, called the alumni to meet to help define other activities that join the general program. To do this they meet on Wednesdays, from the 18: 00, in the auditorium of the Faculty of Administration.

It is expected that the day of the parade will be concentrated in the streets surrounding the House of Services of the UDA, in front of the school Benigno Malo and are grouped by faculties, in order of its foundation and then by groups of promotions.

Franklin Buchelli, president of the Commission, explained that the meeting will be from the 09: 00 to go through the avenues of the Stadium, Roberto Crespo, 27 February and reach the courtyards of the educational unit Asuncion where there will be a festive meeting and music. (AVB) - (I)
