Triathlete Ana Torres gets ready for the IronMan World Cup

At the age of 27 and close to completing her studies in Law at the University of Azuay (UDA), Ana Torres confirms her good sporting moment, after reaching her place in the World Cup in Utah, United States, for the first place in the category 25-29 years in the IronMan 70.3, which was held in Manta, days ago. 

After her performance in the Manabi city, the Cuenca woman, who has been in triathlon for six years, sets her sights on what her competition will be in North America, since in her antecedent she already has participations in the World Cup in South Africa in 2018 and in France In 2019, in the same way her sports career includes her gold medal in the Iron Man of Bariloche 2020 in the branch of 27-29 years and the second general place for women.

¨ Since March I have been training harder under the command of my coach Pablo Vallejo. Thanks to my dedication, I see the fruits and that is motivating, because with discipline you can achieve what you set out to do ”, said the athlete from Azuaya. 

Within his sports preparation, he does not neglect his studies, because, currently he is one step away from graduating from Law School, ¨ I have planned my time, thanks to my family and friends who support me, I have managed to divide my agenda ¨ , He said. 

Her competition in the United States is scheduled for next September 18, that is why the athlete from Cuenca will travel three days before to comply with the necessary adaptation. Along with her will also be the Cuenca, Lucas Almeida in the category 25-29 years.
