Our UDA

Our UDA

In life, what is ours? what can we feel ours? what do we call ours? Where is the strength to call it ours?

No doubt. What is ours or we can feel it like that, is because it has a deep intimate, sensitive understanding of being, I would say of the soul. It is not a utilitarian vision, of calculation, selfishness, violence or heritage. On the contrary, it is already clear - as they say - that in life nothing belongs to us. In agreement. But the emotions, the senses, the illusions, the effort, the study, the work and the dreams are ours. That, of course, belongs to us. Of course it's ours.

What is ours goes beyond the strictly artificial definition to be located in the experiential and harmonic of each day. From the look with which we start the morning and the illusions and utopias with which we intensely live a new day.

Thus, for example, the soul is ours, the spirit of joy and respect, what one feels, what one cares for, what is the engine of day to day, what takes away my thoughts. Ours is the illusion to get up, go out, start and start again, look at what we love, transform it over time and defend it. Yes. Transform it and defend it for its reason and meaning.

That's ours. What we carry so inside as part of the home itself. What inspires us as much as the integral and horizontal progress of those we love. What gives us joy and life. It is ours what is lived with the soul. What fires us up to try one more day. What cannot remain in a paralyzing state and even less of yesterday.

So, for those of us who study, work and serve society from the admired University of Azuay, we know its path and destiny, we know what it is: our UDA because we live it, because we defend and respect it, because we feel it with our soul. (OR)
