The 4 universities renew commitment

Last Thursday, rectors of the Catholic University of Cuenca, the Salesian Polytechnic, the University of Azuay and the University of Cuenca signed the agreement to renew the Open Chair project of Citizen Education and Coexistence Culture.

The plan is carried out jointly with the collective Cuenca, a city to live better and the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Production Chambers of Azuay.

The objective is to develop a community of knowledge and knowledge that promotes teaching-learning processes about civic education and culture of coexistence.

Francisco Salgado, rector of the UDA, expressed his satisfaction for the integration of the universities in the project.

For his part, the rector Enrique Pozo thanked for the opportunity that the Catholic University of Cuenca join this group and pondered the benefits it will bring.

Pablo Vanegas, rector of the University of Cuenca, took advantage of the moment to congratulate the Catholic University for the certification in category B.
