The UDA retakes the 5K Route of the Rivers

The Student Federation (UDAFE) and the Student Sports Association (ADEUDA) of the University of Azuay, with the support of the main authorities of the aforementioned Alma Mater, organize the so-called "5K Ruta de los Ríos".

The recreational event is resumed after a year with the aim of integrating the university community and closer ties with society in general. The race will be the 18 of May from the 08: 00. It will start at the Hospital del Río and end at the central campus of the UDA, located at Av. 24 de Mayo and Hernán Malo.

Mateo González, president of the UDAFE, hopes that the contest will be institutionalized and organized every year with the impulse of the students themselves. The investment is large, precise, while highlighting the unconditional support of the rector Francisco Salgado; of the vice-rectors Marta Cobos, Jacinto Guillen; and the president of the organizing committee, Franklin Bucheli.

Pía Bravo, president of the ADEUDA, plans to gather around 1.000 participants, a hundred more than in the 2017. Expectations are good. In addition to the students, graduates, graduates, employees, teachers and administrative staff will be integrated. You can also join private athletes.
