The UDA concluded the evaluation process for teachers

From 1993 the University of Azuay has completed the evaluation of its teachers, a process that, this year, has concluded once again, this time with a new methodology involving the directors of the faculties, the pairs of the professors and the students .
The assessment of the teacher was incorporated in the academic and procedural part of the scientific quality of what he teaches, how he does it, the attitude he maintains towards the student.
Martha Cobos, academic vice-rector of the UDA, states that in teaching work the principle "We all learn" is followed in order to activate learning.
The contributions of research are also valued, in congresses and seminars, the work for the connection with the community and the management in the academic boards.
Once the teacher evaluation is completed, the students are assessed as a university and follow-up is done to teachers who have difficulty, by school and by faculty.
Likewise, training is given to teachers, with whom they made a specialization and masters degree in university education, apart from what they have. There is also a continuing education program.
The results obtained in the evaluation gave as a result a very satisfactory average, similar to previous years, with over the 90% of the rating.
