Joaquín Moreno Aguilar presents new work

The night of Wednesday 7 of May, in the Museum of Las Conceptas the writer Joaquín Moreno Aguilar presented his novel 'The return to the literary life of Eleuterio Aria'. The work of the author counted on the support of the University of Azuay.

The first volume of this book, published in the 2003, pretended to teach some resources to write in a humorous way through Eleuterio Aria, a fictional character. This personage wrote paraliterary works, that is, ridiculous with literary pretensions.

In this return to the literary life continues with the paraliterature, then in an attempt to dodge the terrible temporality that usually have the works of humor, the author used immortal characters such as Penelope, Don Quixote, Elena de Troya, Romeo and Juliet.

The writer commented that "this novel had a literary process, that is, some corrections prior to the publication where I distributed copies with people of confidence to obtain their most sincere opinions".

Meanwhile, the rector of the University of Azuay, Francisco Salgado highlighted the creativity of the author and noted that "Joaquin is a person full of examples that motivated us to move forward in the task of cultural work, in this case of literature."

For his part, Oswaldo Encalada, commentator of the work, called the new book "the gift of laughter", also explained anecdotes from the book, using political and social humor when referring to the various arguments of the literary work. (I)
