Gabriela Calderon, Queen of Cuenca

Gabriela Calderón became the Queen of Cuenca 2021 after the election event held on the night of this Friday, October 22 at the Carlos Cuenca Tamariz theater and organized by the Queens of Cuenca Foundation.

Daniela Castro, first finalist, is the new Viceroy of the city.

Calderón takes the place of Nikole Salinas, elected in 2019 and who has left the crown after two years, since in 2020 the election was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The other four participants tonight were Gabriela Andrade, Amairaní Naranjo, Natalia Córdova and Gabriela Guerrero.

Calderón is 20 years old and studies Social Communication at the University of Azuay.
