Theater festival with Cuenca in Scene

The Third Cuenca Theater Festival â € œCuenca en Escenaâ €, which promotes the Theater Company of the University of Azuay, is in full swing. Yesterday the works were presented: â € œThe invisible birthdaysâ € and â € œLight eyes come soon to meâ €, from the groups Ubi Theater and Luna Theater. Today it is planned to represent one more work.

This Tuesday, in the Alfonso Carrasco Room of the House of Culture (Luis Cordero and Presidente Córdova, second floor), at 20:00 p.m., Pablo Andrà © s Rojas will perform the play “Maty and Raúl”.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, in their order, the turn will be for the groups Obsidiana Dorada, Insensato Teatro and Teatro Pie, with the other stages â € œPuka Yanaâ €, â € œThe Silence of Maryâ € and Absencesâ €.

They will be staged, in the order mentioned, in the Theater Classroom of the UDA (the B605), the Alfonso Carrasco room and Nomad Space.

In the past several other plays have already been presented: on November 15, â € œOrçoburusâ €, by the Eydilión collective, at the Alfonso Moreno school in Tarqui; last week, â € œCoyote Moradoâ €, with Fabián Duran â € œChoquillaâ €, in Llacao; and â € œLawn soilâ €, in Cumbe, with the group â € œImay Culture.
