As an activity of the end of the year, the 19: 00 is inaugurated at the Pumapungo Museum, an exhibition of ethnographic character, which is in the area of ​​ancestral technologies and is about the basketry technique, which has gradually lost, said Tamara Landívar, zonal coordinator of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage.

 

Work is being done in this exhibition with the University of Azuay (UDA), where the scientific, ethnographic and anthropological part is mixed with the academy. In the exhibition will be exhibited basketry objects, the technologies used, will try to use the same dynamics of the National Museum of Ethnography, which is to publicize the ethnography of research, that is, the museum converted into a space where people They pronounce through the actors, explained the official.

 

There will be the participation of weavers, who will make their demonstrations at the opening. Previously, workshops were held last weekend at the UDA, for people interested in the art of design and techniques.

 

The exhibition will remain open for six months. Tamara Landívar informed that the attention of the Pumapungo Museum for the Biennial has been extended one more hour, from 08: 00 to 18: 00 from Monday to Friday, and also holidays and weekends.
