Evaluate meeting about psychology and communication

Under the organization of the Schools of Communication and Psychology of the University of Azuay and the University of Cuenca, with the assistance of 400 participants, the "II Interuniversity Encounter of Piscology and Communication" was held, in which they discussed and reflected on different topics that are of common interest for these areas.

During the day there were presentations by ten teachers from the aforementioned universities and also from the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), as well as 40 students whose research papers were selected through posters. 

The topics addressed were related to thematic axes such as: mass psychology and communication media, integrated communication to marketing, family relations and communication, communication and psychological and social change, communication in organizational behavior, psychoanalysis and communication, communication or personal development, consumer behavior, psychology and social networks, among others, reports a press release. 

 

The managers of the organizing schools consider that professional communicators require the study of psychological processes such as perception, learning, memory and persuasion, which influence human communication; like the professionals of the piscology they need to know the processes of communication.
