Commemorative stamp for the 50 years of the Foundation of the U. Azuay

This Thursday 14 of June of 2018, the University of Azuay presented its Commemorative Stamp for the 50 years of its foundation.

The event was held in the Plazoleta of the House of Service to Society of the institution, was attended by María Dolores Bermeo, General Manager of Correos del Ecuador and several authorities.

"It is very important to continue training professionals capable of transforming the world, such as María Dolores Bermeo, who passed through the classrooms of our university." said Francisco Salgado, Rector of the UDA. 


María Dolores Bermeo signed the philatelic album and postmarked the envelope of the first day, officializing in this way the postal issue, in the same way since then the postcard came into circulation and especially the commemorative stamp "50 Foundation Years of the University of Azuay" and became part of the inventory of cultural and heritage assets of Ecuador.
