The IESS and the University of Azuay sign an agreement for academic and social development

In the hall of the Council of the University of Azuay, a framework agreement was signed between this house of studies and the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, IESS, with the aim of promoting the internship program, rotating internship and postgraduate scholarships.

In the act that was fulfilled this Wednesday 22 of May of 2019, both the authorities of the educational institution and the IESS were present.

Francisco Salgado, rector of the UDA, explained that this agreement will last 10 years and stressed that the agreement will allow work on specific training programs in undergraduate and graduate and continuing medical education.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Board of IESS, Paul Granda highlighted the agreement as a contribution to the training of medical professionals. (I)
