Short film "Desfase" makes its way through Cuenca's film production

With an inter-institutional collaboration and after a three-year work, finally the short film 'Desfase' will be released next month in Cuenca.


A production made by the students of the Film and Audiovisual career of the University of Cuenca, will see the light with the collaborative participation of actors of the Theater Arts career at the University of Azuay.


Fernando Sacoto, the director tells that this film focuses on 'Mariela', a young woman who is about to be attacked and calls 'Sandra'. Here the 'official Reyes' is involved and the plot begins to unravel.


For his part, both Andrés Pérez, assistant director and Johnatan Villalba, the producer, highlight "the university film force", from where they consider, the audiovisual development begins to have an important presence.


"We do not rule out the idea of ​​continuing to add talents from other universities to achieve a future co-production that shows the desire to continue making films," says Perez. (F)
