Law career exceeds the CEAACES standard

The Council of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, CEAACES, accredited the law degree of the University of Azuay, for complying with the requirements, operation, infrastructure, management and academic quality for its operation.


According to the report presented by CEAACES, the UDA Law career exceeded the established quality standard, which includes two evaluation components: learning environment and learning outcomes. 
In the first component, evaluation of the learning environment, the career obtained a percentage of performance that exceeds the average grade. 
For the second component, learning outcome, the 98 percent of the students in the race passed the National Examination of Career Evaluation; likewise, the result obtained in this exam is above the national average.


José Chalco Quezada, Dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, indicated that "institutional evaluations are necessary, they demand improvement in academic management and in the teaching-learning process, innovation, aspirations and common commitments, to guarantee the training of professionals that constitute an effective contribution of service to society ".
Ana María Bustos, coordinator of the School of Law, said that "the result has allowed us to know and value the work of all members, and also to identify strengths and weaknesses of the career on which we are already working".
