Free legal advice at the UDA

On Miguel Cordero and Cornelio Merchán streets, there is the Legal Office of the University of Azuay (UDA) where free service is provided to people and institutions. Sebastián Medina Altamirano, a legal professional, is in charge of this office, where several activities related to the relationship with society carried out by the University are carried out.

These activities are carried out by students in their last year of Law studies and their respective advisors or legal tutors. They provide advice, advice, analysis and legal sponsorship to priority attention groups, in matters of Family, Civil, Labor, Criminal matters and others. It also has a Mediation Center that offers its services as an alternative means of conflict resolution, ensuring that the same parties in controversy, through dialogue and assisted by an impartial third party, the mediator, resolve their disagreements.
