Visit of DAAD delegates to our campus

On October 14, the University of Azuay and its Department of International Relations received a visit from DAAD delegates; an event in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 17: Partnerships to achieve the goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers and administrative staff from our university community and members of the DAAD.
The welcoming remarks were made by Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who expressed his satisfaction with the visit and pointed out the importance of generating and, in turn, maintaining academic ties with Germany so that this cooperation is fruitful.
In turn, Luis Carlos Bohoequéz, an academic from the DAAD Regional Office in Bogotá, addressed the audience, mentioning the importance of having a DAAD lecturer in Cuenca to continue working together and ensure that students carry out their postgraduate and doctoral studies in Germany.
Marcelo Calle, director of the Department of International Relations of our institution, mentioned the academic visits and programs that have been carried out in cooperation with Germany in recent years.
