“University-Truth” No. 84: contemporary social, human and cultural problems
On July 02, the University of Azuay together with its Publishing House presented the 84th edition of the Universidad-Verdad magazine.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers, students, administrative staff and the general public.
This edition is multi-thematic and has been convened from the following axes: Intersections between identity and technology; strategies for modeling perception and human relationships; debates about education: quality, visions, methodologies, didactics, learning and teachings; interculturality, its applications, challenges and reflections; anthropological studies: challenges and applications; economic development and social inclusion; linguistic ecology: strategies and challenges; foreign trade, international economies; contemporary literary expressions; sustainable cities, heritage, culture and tourism, among others.
The welcoming words were given by our rector, Francisco Salgado, who pointed out that the world must be seen in a different way and that the exercise of thinking with one's own head is what the University must do, an act that is reflected in the new issue of the magazine presented.
Subsequently, the magazine was presented by Jackelin Verdugo Cárdenas, Editor in Chief of Universidad-Verdad. Likewise, Diego Jadán, Content Editor, participated; who analyzed the importance of this issue within the field of social, human and cultural sciences.
