On September 8, Pedro Samaniego, Director of the Planning Department at the University of Azuay, became the first Ecuadorian to obtain Minergie certification for completing the course "Understanding Buildings as a Whole", offered by this prestigious Swiss entity. .
The Minergie certification enables Samaniego to evaluate buildings based on various sustainability parameters, classifying them and ensuring that they meet the criteria of this international standard.
