"Unite the Academy with society and change the productive matrix"

On May 16, the inauguration of the training and advice for entrepreneurs in the food sector was held.

The event was organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology and the School of Food Engineering.

The inaugurated training aims to provide updated instruction with practical methodologies to reduce risk when undertaking.

During the eight sessions of the course, personalized advice will be provided to improve the products and business models of the participants.

According to Andrés López, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, this course "combines two important parts of undertakings: the production process and the solvent development of products."

For Narcisa Ullauri, General Director of the Department of Relations with Society, this project "unites the Academy with society and helps to develop changes in its productive matrix."

Finally, Diego Suárez, professor at the School of Food Engineering and one of the teachers who will teach the course, added: "The training will change paradigms and establish the best ways for them to receive the maximum benefit from their businesses."
