UDA Law Review. Presentation of its 5th edition, volume II
On September 27, the University of Azuay and its Faculty of Legal Sciences presented the journal “UDA Law Review V edition, volume II”; an event that is part of the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically goal 4: Quality Education.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers, administrative staff, students from our university community and the general public.
UDA Law Review is an initiative created by students of the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the University, which has forged a notable trajectory since its birth in 2018. This magazine has reached five editions, the result of the unwavering commitment of the various Academic Committees, who, fulfilling With high standards of academic excellence they have managed to promote legal thinking.
The opening remarks were made by José Chalco, dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, who pointed out that this journal demonstrates the teamwork and management of those in charge of this journal. Without a doubt, they have generated links with other institutions to promote academic legal knowledge.
Guillermo Ochoa, the Faculty's deputy dean, also addressed the audience, pointing out that the University plays a fundamental role in research and the advancement of knowledge, and that this magazine reflects our commitment to quality education.
For their part, Matías Enderica and María Paz Díaz, students of our institution and editors-in-chief of the 5th edition, expressed their gratitude for the space, also pointing out the importance of promoting writing and research in the academic field and areas related to Law.
Finally, a discussion took place in which different legal topics and the research carried out were addressed.
