UDA Adventure 2024, a trip at the height of the world!
On April 27, the University of Azuay opened its doors to the community to participate in our “UDA Adventure 2024” Open House, a space designed for our future applicants, full of music, sports, conferences and fun.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers, administrative staff and students from our university community, students from different schools in the city of Cuenca and the country, and the general public.
Our UDA Adventure gave attendees the opportunity to explore the university campus and learn first-hand about the various academic offers that the University offers for its August - December 2024 academic period.
The day began at the Tower Café, an iconic space on our campus where our rector, Francisco Salgado, addressed the public expressing his joy at opening the doors to the public to explore the best campus in the country; He also pointed out that together we will build a great university community, where each applicant will feel accompanied to begin their professional journey at the height of the world.
During the course of the day, different activities were carried out that took place simultaneously; We had the participation of different musical bands performed by schools in the city, art and design exhibitions planned by our students, tours throughout our university campus where applicants and their families could live the true spirit of being a Puma.
Also in the Teatrino of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art, the short conferences “UDA talks” were held, which offered a variety of relevant topics through testimonies from alumni belonging to our 7 faculties.
At the end of a day full of joy and enthusiasm, a raffle for scholarships was held among those attending in the general auditorium, so 3 future applicants will have the support of our institution to pursue the career of their dreams on an incredible campus.
