Tower Café, at the height of the world

At the top of the campus of the University of Azuay rises a new tower that is characterized by its architectural slenderness, the national flag that crowns it, a clock designed and built with the highest technology by professors from the Faculty of Science and Technology . 

It is a symbol of a growing community, imagined by our rector to be an emblem of our university philosophy “in the highest and for the highest.”  

At the top of science, technology, art and philosophy and for the highest, to do good with deep human sensitivity, to tenderly care for life.

The tower is admired from different perspectives, as the essence of the University, to elevate us above ourselves and to elevate the country, always reminding us that together we have to magnify the nation, seeking the common good.
