Case Recreation at the Law School

On Tuesday, March 27, the Recreation of the Case presented in the Vll National Arbitration Contest in Quito took place at the Faculty of Legal Sciences, in which the arbitration team from the UDA Law School reached the final stages.

The case raises a situation of corruption in the payments of a road construction and put into play various variables such as master contracts, comptrollerships, interventions, arbitration capsules, among others.

In the role of the defendants were the students Mateo Coellar and Andrés Durán, and the plaintiffs Alexandra Correa and Doménica Ayala, who presented their arguments and counterarguments.

The courts of the case were professors of the race who congratulated the opposing parties for the quality of their exhibitions.

"I feel that these types of events are what unite us as a Law School and becoming finalists in the arbitration contest is what makes this profession love," said Juan Tobar, law student and part of the public present at the recreation of the case.
