Recognition of our athletic Pumas
On July 18, at the University of Azuay, recognition was given to our athletes for their brilliant participation in the II Regional Interuniversity Championship 2024; event that is framed within the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, deans, teachers, administrative staff, and students from our university community.
The welcoming words were given by Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who expressed his happiness for the commitment and participation in this championship, pointing out that our Pumas are the symbol for more young people to come to study with us and join to our community.
After the intervention, recognition was given to all our athletes for their excellent participation and performance in the aforementioned championship.
Once the delivery of certificates was completed, Matías Cordero addressed the public on behalf of all the athletes.
Finally, Paula Vega, a recognized athlete from our institution, expressed her gratitude for the support provided.
