Recognition to the Psychology team for their efforts in the pandemic

On June 24, the recognition event was held for the team that provided psychological support in times of pandemic; This event was held in the Multipurpose Room of the Faculty of Administration Sciences of the UDA.

The program began with a few words of welcome and the presentation of the board of directors made up of Francisco Salgado, Rector of the University of Azuay, Martha Cobos, Academic Vice-Rector; Ramiro Laso, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Education Sciences, and Xavier Muñoz, Coordinator of the VIDA Project.

The event rewarded the Psychology students who collaborated with individual and group attention to the university community in this time of special care, organized by UDAteapoya and the VIDA project.

This program was carried out in order to promote the development and integral well-being of the members of the university community of the University of Azuay, in this time of pandemic where psychological support has been fundamental for the well-being of people.

The assistance was provided by teachers and students who make up the Psychology team and work in community service.

The certificates delivered bore the text: “The University of Azuay confers this certificate for having collaborated in the Psychology Program ´The UDA helps you´ during the period of essential care from January to June 2021, providing psychological care to the university community. Their solidarity work is recognized and valued ”.

After the delivery, Xavier Muñoz, Life Project Coordinator, mentioned the effort and good work done during this time by the students.
