Radio UDA presented its new radio programs

The 24 of May in the Multiple Use Room was launched the new 2018-2019 programming of Radio UDA, with the new programs developed by the fourth cycle students of the School of Social Communication.

The event was attended by Ramiro Laso, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Literature and Education Sciences; Matías Zibell, Coordinator of the School of Social Communication, and the teachers of the radio subjects Jorge Piedra and Hugo Guillermo, this last Director of Radio UDA.

Ramiro Laso began by thanking and congratulating students and teachers: "We are very happy to participate in this Radio UDA adventure that today reopens in the best way with their presence."

 "Slowly this is ceasing to be a curricular issue of a given subject in the syllabus, because then it tends to become a personal and collective project that will love in the future," said Zibell.

The Director of Radio UDA mentioned: "It fills me with great satisfaction to know that in radios of greater resonance of Cuenca the intercultural capsules that are produced here are heard", added Guillermo, referring to the program of connection of the station with the Ecuadorian Association of Broadcasting (AER).

Finally, Sebastián Carrasco, representative of the students of the fourth cycle of Social Communication, said he was grateful for the support provided by his teachers and anticipated a bit of programming.

Every Monday at 14h00, Serendipity, a program full of motivational testimonials with those inspiring people who fulfill their dreams and do what they like most, led by Alexia Moscoso. And to the 16h00, Dos caras, a program of opinion to know the two sides of the truth led by María Emilia Beltrán and Priscila Delgado.

Tuesdays at 15:00 pm Comunícate, a program to talk about politics and research. Hosted by Tatiana Astudillo. And then at 16:00 p.m., Opposites Poles, a program of opinions and gender debates, led by Ariana Pazmiño and David Verdugo.

On Wednesdays at 15h00 comes a program led by María José Altamirano and Claudia Cordero called 2x1 that explores the unknown, new local artists and organizes events in new places. And at the 16h00 Sebastian Carrasco and Galo Sarmiento lead The bombastic cabin, the space to talk about movies, television and music without fear of ridicule.

Every Thursday at 14h00 the program El Radar Cultural seeks the best exponents of Cuenca art and culture, led by Karla Campoverde and Mateo Ochoa. Then, at the 15h00, the Prism of Colors Program, hosted by Samira Farah and Estefany Cueva, is a space to discuss news topics that are current at the global, national and local levels.

And continuation to the 16h30 the Instantáneas program is presented, conducted by Mayra Gonzales and Cristina Fernández de Córdova, a space of small notes on cinema, literature and music where you will learn to know other looks.

And to end on Thursday at 17:00 p.m., Verónica Coronel and André Vimos bring us The Bohemian corner where you can meet sui generis places to visit with your friends and listen to the best hits of the 80's and 90's.

Radio UDA also transmits material produced by students of the Medicine and Law degrees and it is expected that this will be extended in the near future to other Schools.
