Pumas in the ll Regional Interuniversity Championship
On July 8, the University of Azuay participated in the inauguration of the ll Regional Interuniversity Championship organized by the University of Cuenca.
The event was attended by authorities and athletes from our university community, authorities and athletes from the different participating institutions and the general public.
Sport is an important factor in both personal and collective development. It has an integrative value that allows young people to develop their different skills in the sports field.
The welcoming words were given by Sebastián Astudillo, president of the Strategic Committee for Physical Activity and Sports of UCUENCA.
This meeting highlighted the importance of providing meeting spaces where the priority is to promote physical activity in young people, unity, teamwork and, above all, a spirit of collaboration, demonstrating that sport is part of a comprehensive training in the institutions of our city.
