On November 20, the University of Azuay, together with its Vice-Rector for Research, held the inauguration of the training “Validation of the Elena Simonetta Neurofunctional Psychomotor Test, for children from 0 to 3 years old in Cuenca-Ecuador”, an event that It is framed within the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, mainly goal 3: Health and Well-being. 

The event was attended by authorities, teachers and administrative staff from our university community and members of the different Child Development centers. 

Raffaella Ansaloni, Vice-Rector for Research, inaugurated the project by highlighting the importance of training in the field of research and expressed her conviction that it will be very useful for the comprehensive development of children.

During the meeting, Martha Cobos Cali, dean of the Faculty of Psychology, highlighted the work of the research team in the execution of this project. She underlined the commitment shown by the team and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, highlighting that it can make a big difference in the lives of all children.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the University of Azuay in promoting children's health and well-being, thus contributing to the achievement of broader goals in the field of education and sustainable development.
