Equity Scholarship Dissemination Program
On March 13, the University of Azuay and its Department of University Well-being conducted a program to educate students about the academic offerings, enrollment processes, scholarships, and benefits offered by the University of Azuay.
The event was attended by authorities, program coordinators, and faculty from our university community, students from various public schools in the city, and the general public.
The event began with remarks from Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who noted that it is a day of great joy for the institution because young people will be able to apply to the various programs offered and thus begin their world-class education.
Gustavo Sánchez, Zone 6 Education Coordinator, addressed those present, mentioning the importance of education in every aspect of society and how, through strategic alliances, opportunities are provided for young people to continue their education in prestigious institutions.
María Isabel Pinos, director of the Mi UDA department, presented the Equity Scholarship program.
Once the presentations were over, our urban dance group, "Pumas Dance," performed. Afterward, students were able to tour our facilities and learn about our academic offerings, before applying.
